This MIL-SPEC steel is stronger and will outlast most materials found in the commercial market. The chamber and bore are chrome lined adding protection against fouling and corrosion ensuring a longer barrel life with less time spent maintaining and cleaning.
A 1:7 twist rate ensures that this barrel can stabilize heavier rounds preferred by most professional infantrymen for their superior ballistics. M4 feed ramps increase reliable feeding while dimpling at the gas seat allows precise gas block installation. All BCM barrels are proof loaded to 70,000 psi and then magnetic particle inspected to detect any possible flaws in the barrel surface.
