All major components of the Larue MBT-2S AR-15 trigger are constructed from S7 Tool Steel through precision machining. The result is a trigger that features a glass-smooth, extra-consistent function, while maintaining the rugged durability required for battlefield use. The MBT-2S trigger features a crisp break at 4.5 pounds (2.5-pound first stage, 2-pound second stage) and features a smooth and positive reset.
